A light dial reflects the light and makes the case look slightly larger: it is the option to favour if you have a slim wrist and want presence without going up in diameter. It is also the best legibility in the catalogue, dark markers on a light background. Pure white is the dressiest and most formal; sunburst silver, very slightly grey, is more discreet and pairs perfectly with a steel bracelet. One thing to note: on a light dial, dust and marks show more under the glass, so avoid opening the watch yourself.
